Norberto Giannini (flamantes 49 años, dos hijos) es doctor en Ciencias Biológicas Facultad de Ciencias Naturales UNT. Tiene un posdoctorado UNT (becario Conicet) y dos en el Museo Americano de Historia Natural (Nueva York). Es profesor de Biogeografía y Evolución y es investigador principal de Conicet. Forma parte del staff de investigadores del Museo Americano de Historia Natural de Nueva York y de Atol (Assembling the tree of life). Entre numerosas publicaciones se destacan: "Guide to the Bats of Argentina" y dos capítulos en "Evolutionary History of Fossils, Molecules and Bats", editado por Cambridge.
