This work is the second installment of the Catalog of the Cactaceae Collection housed within the Phanerogamic Herbarium (LIL-HbF). This stage documents 736 specimens, from 28 genera, 126 species, 4 subspecies and 17 varieties, distributed with in the subfamilies Cactoideae, Opuntioideae and Pereskioideae. The digitalization process allowed the visualization and recognition of different representatives of native taxa from North America, Central America and South America, collected by national and foreign botanists and naturalists. This heritage is intended to serve as a resource for the scientific community specialized in
the field of knowledge of this family, which fulfills multiple functions in nature. Taxonomic, nomenclatural, geographic, collector and image information is included. Taxa citation was ordered alphabetically, and the scientific names were updated, as well as other original data taken from the labels. This second part completes the task of digitizing the Cacti preserved in this herbarium, enabling its publication on the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) platform.
