Miscelanea 153 (2024): Catalog of Bryophyta donated by the Herbarium of São Paulo (Brazil) to the Cryptogamic Collection of the Miguel Lillo Foundation. Part II

In order to continue the publication of specimens donated by the Institute of Botânica, São Paulo Brazil (SP) to the Cryptogamic Collection of the Miguel Lillo Foundation, a catalog was prepared with 369 specimens of Bryophyta preserved in the Bryological Section (LIL-MUSCI); they are represented by 182 species distributed in 86 genera from 16 states in Brazil. The donation includes duplicates that were collected between the years 1963 to 2016, 42% of the material corresponds to the state of São Paulo, and the collector with the largest number of specimens is Yano O. (22%). The catalog seeks to contribute to knowledge and facilitate the dissemination of specimens belonging to the bryoflora of Brazil, deposited in the Cryp- togamic Collection and available to the scientific community.
