Abstract

The author, after having studied the two specimens that served for the description of Evolvulus martii Meiss. forma saltense Arech., establishes that they belong to sspec. of Evolvulus glomeratus Nees et Mart.

S. J. van Ooststroom, Rijksherbarium, Leiden University

Simon Jan van Ooststroom (1906-1982) fue un botánico holándes. Oostroom fue autor de varias publicaciones sobre taxonomía, principalmente sobre Convolvulaceae, y fue de 1948 a 1975 coeditor de Flora Neerlandica. También fue asesor regional de los Países Bajos en el proyecto Flora Europaea.
