Tucumán species of the genus Senecio

?Tucuman species of the genus Senecio?. The genus Senecio is represented in the Province of Tucumán (Argentina) by 40 species, all indigenous, distributed in two subgenera: Eusenecio, with twelve sections; Dioicosenecio, with only one section. The species and varieties that are new to science are the following: S. flagellifolius nov. sp., S. lorentzii var. radiatus nov. var., S. lorentzii var. latifolius nov. var., S. maculatus nov. sp., S. roripaefolius nov. sp., and S. tafiensis nov. sp. The author gives keys and descriptions of all the species.
