Abstract

On some American Amaranthaceae and Ramnaceae?. The author describes in the present work some new species, varieties and forms, enumerating at the same time the species not mentioned in Hauman, L., Catalogue des Phanérogames de l? Argentine, 2. partie, Annals of the National Museum of Natural History of Buenos Aires Aires, volume XXXII (1923-1925), 105-128.

Karl Suessenguth (1893 - 1955) fue un botánico alemán, del Botanische Staatssammlung de Múnich.

El 15 de septiembre de 1927 fue designado profesor de Botánica en la Universidad de Múnich. Un foco de su trabajo científico fue la clasificación botánica y la fisiología y química vegetal. En 1949 fue nombrado profesor honorario. Desde 1946 hasta su muerte, fue director de la Colección Estatal Botánica de Múnich. Bajo su dirección la Biblioteca del Estado comenzó a publicar su revista anual propia.
