Spiral fibrils in Nerine Fothergilli. Further examination with polarized light

Abstract

The author expands on his previous work ?Remarkable Spiral Arrangement of fibers in the Cell Walls of ?Nerine Fothergilli??, which appeared in this same Journal, volume V (1940), 213-127. Describes and illustrates other observations by using polarized light on the remarkable spiral arrangement of the fibrils that forms the cell walls of this plant.
