Abstract

Teratological phenomena in ?Pterocactus? (Cactaceae, Opuntioideae)?. Since until today no malformations could be found in the genus Pterocactus (Cactaceae, Opuntioideae), the author proves the complete fasziation of one individual and the partial fasziation of another of this genus. It also describes the flower that appeared on the first named after two years of cultivation. At the same time, he gives 2n = 22 as the chromosome number of the genus Pterocactus.
