Abstract

?Valerianaceae of Tucumán?. The author found 10 species of Valeriana, the only genus of the family, in the province of Tucumán (Argentina). Two new spceis are described: V. calchaquina and V. grisebachiana. V. approximata and the var. trifoliata and Fiebrigii of V. effusa are considered as synonymus of V. effusa, and V. glomerulosa is identified with V. polystachia. In this work are included the Argentine species of Valeriana mentioned in the Farmacopea Nacional Argentina, 3rd ed. (1928).
