Abstract

Parrado, María Francisca y Nora De Marco, 2006. ?Flowering of Guadua chacoensis (Poaceae: Bambuseae)?. Lilloa 43 (1-2). The objective of this communication is to inform about the occurrence of the flowering cycle of Guadua chacoensis (Rojas) Londoño and P. M. Peterson, in Tucumán Province. Some specimens of this species, coming from Iguazu (Misiones), grow in the Botanical Garden of the Miguel Lillo Foundation. The flowering-fructification cycle started in August 2006. The previous recorded cycle started in 1976. The period elapsed between the cycles was 30 years.
