Estudios citológicos en tres especies del género Monnina

Abstract

In Argentina, it consist of eleven species. Meiotic chromosomes of three species from the Norwest of Argentina which belong to an Andean ecosystem were analized. A cytotype of M. dictyocarpa Griseb. n=10 chromosomes was informed so as the meiotic recounts of M. wrightii A. Gray n=9 chromosomes, and M. lorentziana Chodat n=10 chromosomes. This last one is known as a first time. Results have been discuted respect of they were polyploids with two basic numbers, x=5 and x=10.
