The author gives a review of the Lilaeopsis mentionned for Argentine. This genus counts in our country with 8 species, 2 varieties and 1 form, which are all illustrated in this publications. Some species and varieties have already been described by the author in the Review Physis, numbers 40 and 42; on the other hand, in this article, nov. comb. L. andina A. W. Hill form. subulata (Wedd.); L. attenuata (Hook. et Arn.) y L. minor (A. W. Hill), are made. Refering to Lilaeopsis attenuata Fernald (conf. Contrib. Gray Herb. Harvard Univ., New Sera, no 72, p. 94) the author does not count it for it has been proved that under this designation, Dr. Fernald has determined several examples of Lilaeopsis andina A. W. Hill, existing in the Gray Herbarium. Besides Dr. Hill gives as synonims that combination with some of his species (see Journ. of Linn. Soc. Bot., t. 47. p. 540 and 543). The article contains a Key to the determination of the Argentine species.
