Abstract

The author reports on his experiments with 55 woods belonging to species of the Tucuman flora. For each wood, the upper and lower calorific value of the core, sapwood and bark are given, values that were determined with the help of the Mahler-Kröker calorimeter. The practical calorific values and the corresponding equivalent values of one ton of diesel or coal were also calculated in each of the woods examined.
