Cyperological notes

Abstract

The author makes several corrections to the names with which a few plants appear in the works published by him, relating to the priority; he mentions new origins of Heleocharis villaricensis, H. spegazzinii, H. pachycarpa, and H. parodii. In addition, he describes a new variety of Scirpus californicus, which he refers to as spoliatus, a word which expresses its most remarkable character, that is to say, it has lost its hypogynous scales, from which it differs from the var. tereticulmis.
