Abstract

Jaborosa rotacea (Lillo) Hunz. et Barboza var. tucumanensis Figueroa Romero, Muruaga y Bulacio is described and illustrated. It is different from the typical variety due to the shape of its leaves, the characteristics of its trichomes and corolla lobes. It is endemic in Tucumán and grows in the Prepuneña formation between 2.700 and 2.900 m.s.m.
