Reports on genetics and leaf proteins in hibrid progenies of Citrus volkameriana Pasq. x Citrus reshi Hort. ex Tan.

Cytological studies, as well as leaf protein studies, in hybrid progenies of Citrus volkameriana Pasq. (female progeny) x Citrus reshni Hort. ex Tan. (male progeny), have been carried out in this paper. The normal production of the pollen grains and their viability, have not been affected by meiotic abnormalities. The electrophoretic patterns of the leaf proteins in progenies and their hybrids are identical. The only differences which were observed are quantitative.
