Phitogeographical notes on the Pampa Central region

Abstract

After a brief study of the geological antecedents and climatic conditions of the Mediterranean territory called Pampa Central (Argentina), we try to enumerate the characteristic siuecies and cathalogue of the Flora. There is also an attempt to explain the primitive absence of trees in our true vine and a description of the form of distribution of Prosopis (caldén) which I call anphitheater.

Après une étude brève des antécedents géologiques et des conditions climatiques du territoire mediterranéen appellé Pampa Central (Argentina), on essaye une énumération des siuécies caracteristiques et nn cathalogue de la Flore. Il y a aussi un essai d'explication de l'absence primitive d?arbres dans notre vraie pampe et une description de la forme de distribution du Prosopis (caldén) que j'appelle en anphithéâtre.
