Crinodendron tucumanum Lillo and its relation to Chilean species of the genus

Abstract

In this note the authors establish the main characters and geographic distribution of the Elaeocarpaceae C. tucumanum in Argentina, concluding that it is a quite distinct species from C. patagua Mol. of Chile, either by its morphology or by its anatomy. On the other hand, they make known the analogies and differences that there are with this one, only species which can be confused with the first.
