“Brown Cacholote ( Pseudoseisura lophotes ; Birds: Furnariidae) Diet, in Villa María, Córdoba, Argentina”. This work is the result of field observations and studies in Villa María, Córdoba, Argentina between 1980 and 2016. The Brown cacholote ( Pseudoseisura lophotes ) is a common resident species in the study area. Their diet is varied and consists of many kind of invertebrates, vertebrates and vegetables. As a result, a significant number of new items were found in their diet. The number of known families and species of insects was expanded. I found six new classes of animals to date not reported: 1— Annelids (Haplo- taxida); 2— Molluscs (Pulmonata); 3— Arachnids (Araneae and Scorpiones); 4— Crustaceans (Isopoda); 5— Amphibians (Anura); and 6— Reptiles (Squamata). The Brown Cacholote was very useful in the city, given the important consumption of invertebrate and vertebrate pests harmful to people, plants, ornamental trees and grass.
