“Birds associated to sections of riparian forests with anthropogenic modi- fications (Tucumán, Argentina): III. Composition and seasonal changes of the assemblage”. In some sections of natural riparian forests, campsites constitute notable environmental modi- fications through partial or total replacement of native flora with exotic specimens, buildings and footway. The composition of avifauna which frequents this environment presents natural climate changes and others creditable to human influence. The objective of these studies was to analyze the bird community’s composition and seasonal variations in four camping spots by the banks of river Loro, considering residential status, diversity, equitability, abundance and specific richness in the course of a year. 144 species belonging to 32 families were detected, among which 18 are aquatic. No remarkable differences were found in the diversity between seasons, although during summer richness and abundance were higher and equitability lower. The 56,6% of the avian assemblage corresponds to resident species and the rest is distrib- uted between summer, winter and spring-autumn visitors. 11 species are austral migrants, 27 are partial austral and 2 are nearctic. In addition to common species from less affected environments (forests and wetlands) other opportunistic and generalist species were present as a result of the modifications to the forests.
