Abstract

Seven species of Chrysoperla Steimann have been described for the Neotropical Region, three of which are cited for Argentina: Chrysoperla externa (Hagen); Chrysoperla asoralis (Banks) and Chrysoperla argentina González Olazo y Reguilón. Larval morphology and biological data exist only for the first and third species. In this study, the external egg morphology and larval stages of Chrysoperla argentina are described and illustrated. A key for the identification of the second and third larval stages of species present in Argentina is included.
