Abstract

The genus Bassania Walker (Lepidoptera: Geometridae, Ennominae) and species present in Argentina are redescribed. The descriptions are based on color pattern, wing venation and genital structures of males and females. A key to separate species in Argentina is included. In Argentina, the genus is distributed in the Yungas. Distribution data of the species are presented in a map.
