A new species of Dasyuromyia Bigot (Diptera: Tachinidae) of Patagonia, Argentina

Abstract

A new species of Tachinidae is described and illustrated. A key for species identification is presented and traits of the new species which distinguish it from other species of the genus are discussed. A map is provided with the distribution of species of this genus present in the patagonic region and south of Chile.
