Abstract

The object of this study was to obtain an inventory of species associated to an experimental crop of 10 varieties of quinoa. Sampling was performed monthly between October 2007 and May 2008. Depending on the phenological stage of the plants, we recorded different insect orders. We repor t two new species of beetles Tetraonyx sp. y Ancistrosoma vittigerum for the first time for this crop. The relevance of the presence of certain species is discussed in relation to similar studies made in Latin America.
