On the presence of Campylomma verbasci (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae) in Argentina

The species Campylomma verbasci (Meyer-Dür) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae: Phylinae: Nasocorini) is cited for the first time for Argentina and the Neotropics. Images of collected specimens, as well as their host plant and the damage caused are shown and their diagnostic characters are given. The importance of the appearance of this species in the country and its eating habits is briefly discussed.
