Serological relations in Leptotlactylus of the pachypus group
Keywords:
Anura, Leptodacylus, serologyAbstract
The Argentine species of the Pachypus group: Leptodactylus ocellatus, L. chaquensis, L. pentadactylus, L. laticeps were compared. The serologic distances showed by the photronrefleetometrie tests of precipitine, allows us to establish a relatively old relationship between laticeps and pentadactylus and oceliatus-chaquensis respectively. In a tridimensional system these two cryptic species, already differenciated serologieally would be placed together at the same distance from the other two species, although all of them would belong to the same group in comparison with forms of cavicola for example. The observations through eleetroforesis in gel, permit underlining the peculiarity of the seroproteinic pattern of L. laticeps confirming thus a probably early differentiation and independent from this chaquena species.
