We report five direct records of the Geoffroy’s cat Leopardus geoffroyi, in southern and austral zone of Chile. These records were presented in different habitats, both in sites with native vegetation and with human presence, where there are threats to their survival. Additionally, the available published literature and databases were consulted to corroborate previous records of this species in Chile. The records reported here contribute to strengthening the information on the distribution of Geoffroy’s cat in Chile, however, it is essential to carry out more research in order to know its
current population situation, threats and solutions.
