The study of the different types of grasshoppers egg-pods in the Tucuman province has been undertaken as a contribution to the knowledge of our acridian fauna.
The present paper deals with the description, measurement of their parts and schematic illustration of the egg-pods, average number of eggs per egg-pod, and egg length and width.
The shape and place of the egg laying of Adimantus vitticeps (Blanchard) are included and considered as a biological novelty.
