Contributions on protection and conservation of wildlife and natural areas. III. Marine fauna reserves on the Patagonian coast of the Atlantic and the Falkland Islands: objectives of their creation, planning and scientific research.

The vast majority of the world's countries create national parks and analogous or equivalent reserves to preserve natural terrestrial and aquatic environments (marine and freshwater), with their gea, flora and fauna, as well as paleontological and archaeo-ethnological sites, monuments and historical relics, etc., with the purpose of rescuing them from their deterioration and bequeath them to present and future generations.
