The method of individualizing specimens with different markings such as rings, buttons, necklaces, pennants, irons, paintings, cuts, etc., has been in use for 100 years for wild species, while the marking of domestic or semi-domestic animals is has been carried out centuries ago, mainly to identify the legal owner of them.
