Abstract

Trirammatus (F.) violaceus n. sp. is described on the basis of two female specimens from Tucumán, Argentina, which were considered as Feroniomorpha glauca by the author in 1967.

S. L. Straneo, Investigadora independiente

Stefano Ludovico Straneo (1902 – 1997) fue un entomólogo italiano, administrativo y autor académico, además de educador.

Fue un prolífico autor que se especializaba en Coleoptera. Su colección Coleoptera: Carabidae y Paussidae se exhibe en el Museo Civico di Storia Naturale in Milan.

En 1972 recibió la Medaglia ai benemeriti della scuola, della cultura e dell'arte.
