Congruence between traditional systematics and phenograms based on morphometry.
A key of the Argentinian species of the genus Philodryas shows about the same relationships as two head phenograms (especially WPGMA), exclusively based on morphometric data from the head (23 characters). The key contains, however, many morphometric ratios; but the point is that even without them, it would have exactly the same structure.
