Catálogo de los Tipos Primarios de Coleoptera depositados en la Colección Entomológica del Instituto – Fundación Miguel Lillo

Abstract

A catalogue of the primary types of Coleoptera order, deposited at the En- tomologic Collection of the Zoological Area of Instituto-Fundación Miguel Lillo are provided. 164 primary types were examined, belonging to in 48 subfamilies, within a total of 27 families: Carabidae, Ptinidae, Cleridae, Meliridae, Coccinellidae, Endomychidae, Erotylidae, Chrysomel- idae, Brentidae, Anthicidae, Cerambycidae, Rhipiphoridae, Tenebrionidae, Zopheridae, Lim- nichidae, Buprestidae, Cantharidae, Cerophytidae, Elateridae, Eucnemidae, Lampyridae, Phen- godidae, Geotrupidae, Scarabaeidae, Trogidae, Hidrophilidae and Histeridae. From África, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru. Information to each specimen is provided. Color photographs of holotypes are presented.
