Abstract

?Microfauna of the San José Formation (Middle Miocene), at Yasyamayo locality, Tucumán, Argentina?. A new fosiliferous locality with Littoridina (Gastropoda) and ostracods from San José Formation at Yasyamayo Gulch, is reported. A detailed stratigraphic profile showing its level occurrence is given. The specimens, although cannot be specifically assigned, may be regarded of significant value for future paleoecologic and paleogeographic analysis.
