Abstract

The Hernandarias formation and his relationship with the landscape deterioration in the middle west of the Entre Ríos province, Argentina?. The Hernandarias formation is widely spread in a highly cultivated region, in which intensive denudational actions are detected. The principal factors of landscape deterioration (lithology, relief, climate, soil and management) are analyzed, and the processes and resulting erosional features are described in a sample area representative of the regional environmental condition.
