Abstract

?Chromium content in basic and ultrabasic bodies of San Luis province (Argentina)?. In San Luis hills there is a basic corridor that extends from El Durazno to the north more than 40 km. When observing the results of geochemical prospecting for nickel, cobalt and copper carried out on the basic bodies of the Sierras de San Luis, some anomalies of these elements and a marked parallelism of them are observed (Vendramini, 1973). For this reason, the concern arose to prospect in those places for other paragenetic elements; such the case of platinum.
