New floristic elements of the Piedra del Águila Formation, Neuquén, Argentina

Abstract

New floristic elements were recently found in the ??Formación Piedra del Aguila??, Neuquén province, Argentina. The impressions are poorly preserved, but ratify the Lowermost Liassic age of the sediments previously assigned by their stratigraphic position and the abundant presence of typical Liassic species of Otozamites and Ptilophyllum.
