Conditions and characteristics of acuiferous in the zone of Villa Mercedes ? Justo Daract (province of San Luis) and Chajan ? Laguna Oscura (province of Córdoba), Argentina

Abstract

The characteristics of the subterranean waters, especially in reference to the freatic level, in a sector which includes part of the provinees of San Luis and Córdoba are presented in this paper. Based on chemical analysis areas of apt and inept waters are determined: the latter are generally situated in places where the level is deeper. Concerning the deeper levels their characteristics are similar to the freatic according to the geographical position they occupy.
